The ownership model
Reportage Tower gives you the opportunity to own a premium apartment in Victoria Island while a professional hospitality operation takes care of its day-to-day hotel use.
When you buy an apartment, you own the apartment. The hotel operates it as part of the hospitality operation, allowing you to participate in the income generated from hotel operations while also enjoying owner benefits.
OWN
Your apartment is your property with full right of ownership. The development's title is a Lagos State Certificate of Occupancy (CofO).
OPERATE
The apartment is professionally operated as part of the hotel, so you do not have to personally manage the day-to-day hospitality operation.
EARN
The project has an expected annual return of 18%–22%, subject to hotel performance and the applicable terms.
STAY
Owners are entitled to complimentary stays for a specified number of days each year, subject to the applicable owner-stay terms.
SELL
Because you own the apartment, you retain the right to sell or transfer it, subject to applicable contractual, legal and administrative requirements.
You buy it. You own it. The hotel runs it. You earn from it. You can stay in it. And when you're ready to exit, you can sell your ownership interest.
What belongs to you?
The apartment.
What does the hotel do?
The hotel manages and operates the hospitality side of the property.
What does this mean for you?
You remain the owner while the hotel handles the operation.
In simple terms
You are not buying a hotel room that you simply have the right to use. You are buying an apartment that you own.
The difference is that the apartment is professionally operated within the hotel environment rather than being managed by you as a conventional rental property. That means you retain ownership while benefiting from professional hotel operations, projected rental income and owner-stay benefits, subject to the applicable terms.
Your ownership does not disappear because the hotel manages the apartment.
The hotel management arrangement is simply how the property is operated. Your ownership of the apartment remains yours, subject to the applicable purchase and title documentation.
If you later decide to sell, you retain the right to sell or transfer your apartment subject to the applicable requirements. If the property has increased in value, you may benefit from the resulting capital gain.
Projected annual return
18%–22%
A projected annual return of 18%–22% is associated with the hotel operation, subject to hotel performance and applicable terms. It is a projection, not a guarantee — one benefit of the model, alongside ownership itself.
